From Mauritius branch of the Qadiani Ahmadiyya, Munir Ahmad Azim held responsible positions within the Ahmadiyya organization.
Together with Zafrullah Domun, they started a successful sub-sect of the Qadiani Ahmadiyya, Jama'at Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen, which has membership in Mauritius, Morocco, and some islands of the Indian Ocean.
Azim was more evangelical, and Domun more administrative. They continued in their co-leader capacity until the inevitable split. Domun kept the JAAM, and Azim went to India, where he has been successful in founding yet another sub-sect: Jamaat ul Sahih al-Islam
