Ego-centricity

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as Egocentric

I want you to share with me this note in the Diary of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. (As translated by Ch. Zafrullah Khan). (Tadhkirah. p. 301).

"Revelation (Arabic): You are to Me like My Unity and My Uniqueness. You are to Me like My Throne. You are to Me like My son. You have a standing with Me of which the people have no knowledge. I along with the Spirit am with you and the members of your family. I have preferred you and have chosen you for Myself". (Diary of the Promised Messiah p. 35).

As I have said elsewhere, Pyschology tells us that nothing comes from without. It is the inner voice of the person which one conceives as a revelation.

I will leave it without further comments. But at least this much must be said. The Qur'an tells us that God has no offsprings, neither sons nor daughters. And one of the main arguments against Christianity is, that it percieves Jesus Christ as the son of God. Now we have in the revelation of MGA that God regards him as His son.

There is yet another remarkable mention of the "Spirit" in this revelation. It seems that besides God there is this "Spirit", whose likes and dislikes are very dear to God. Does this reminds you of the Christian Theology?

It tells me that this revelation is of a very egocentric person. He should have consulted Dr. Freud.
